Day 2

BERLIN

BERLIN

Breakfast at the hotel, meeting with the guide and visit of Berlin city center (transfers by public transportation).

You will visit Gendarmenmarkt, the most beautiful square in the city with the characteristic twin churches, Bebelplatz, which is remembered for the first public burning of books of the Nazi era, in 1933: in memory of the event was built the Versunkene Bibliothek (Sunken Library), an open square in the square that shows, through the glass, a library with completely empty shelves. We will continue through Unter den Linden, Nikolaiviertel and finish at Alexanderplatz, one of the most important scenarios in Berlin’s history.
Free time for lunch

Optional, not included: Guided tour of the Berlin Wall area
You will deepen the troubled history of the twentieth century, culminating with the fall of the Berlin Wall. You will begin our visit in the center of the East, touching with our hands still standing remains of the Wall, famous is the mural of the kiss between Honecker and Brezhnev, symbol of brotherhood between the USSR and East Germany. We will continue to the Potsdamer Platz, until reaching the Bundesrat Palace, once the seat of the Third Reich (the name was, in fact, Reichstag Palace) now the seat of government.
Price per pax: 45€ with min 4 pax.

Day 3

BERLIN

Breakfast at the hotel, individual transfer to Pergamonmuseum (transfer by walk or public transportation).

Entrance ticket with English audio guides. Located within the Museum Island, it includes three different realities: the Collection of Classical Antiquities, the Museum of Antiquities of the Near East and the Museum of Islamic Art. The museum is particularly striking for the monumentality of the works exhibited inside, with masterpieces of the ancient Greek and Roman ages. The Museum of Antiquity of the Near East boasts perhaps the richest collection of treasures from this region. It is dominated by the impressive reconstruction of the Gate of Ishtar, the grand portal entirely covered with blue ceramic tiles, which in the 6th century B.C. gave access to the city of Babylon.

Free time for lunch, free time for individual visits and overnight

Day 4
